Description:

The Project comprised the construction in two phases of a new two storey community school for 650 pupils including science rooms and other specialist’s rooms, it also included a sports hall, external sports field, hard play area, landscaping and carparking. The total area of the building is 4,800m2.
The building consists of a steel frame structure with infill concrete block walls, fairfaced on the inside and mainly rendered on the exterior. There was extensive use of curtain walling and strip window glazing to northlights, the roof comprised of a standing seam system supported on a structural metal deck.
The first phase of the project was completed for client use in 8 months.
